I would still feel you

So Hone Tuwhare died this year.

How many school childrens' hearts and minds did he tuck away in his sleeves, from the very first publishing of his rain poem? Will any of us stop wondering what that would be like, to have no sense at all, and yet still sense something.

That big, juicy grin, lasciviously full of memories...

The understanding of humanness.

Throwing

1:
“Throw your heart out in front of you

And run ahead to catch it”
Arabian Proverb

2:

The heedless act of throwing the heart out in front of her resulted in a slight chip on the bottom corner (visible)
and a sizeable slice off the back (not visible).

The running ahead is still in progress.
Step by egg shell step.
